The official trailer of Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie ‘Son of Sardaar’ posted on Youtube has prompted a senior lawyer to issue a legal notice to the actor and producer. In the notice the movie is alleged to hurt religious sentiments of Sikhs.
Ashwini Dhir’s ‘Son of Sardaar’ is produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and YRV Infra & Media (P) Ltd. The movie set to for a Diwali release (in November).
The lawyer Navkiran Singh requested Devgn to delete dialogues making fun of Sikhs from the film in public interest. Some of the dialogues Navkiran has problem with include, "in case Sardars would not have been there, then on whom would the jokes be made." He suspects more dialogues might be there in the movie that might put Sikhs in a bad light.
